My daughter & I worked with Joan for several months leading up to the wedding. Joan created our envelopes for the invites, programs, place cards, table numbers, menus, chalkboards for the Guest Book and Sweets Table and other unique, one-of-a kind items. One of my favorites is a verse that she surrounded with beautiful water colors on a 12x16 board that we had matted and framed for the memorial candle. It is breathtakingly beautiful!

During the few months that we worked with Joan, we were constantly changing decisions and giving her additional items to complete. Her work ethic to get these items completed by the deadline is something to be admired. Never once did she tell us something couldn't be done and ALWAYS delivered! Her talent, her passion, her imagination and her beautiful heart come through in every piece that she creates.

All of our guests complimented her work throughout night from the church to the reception. Words like unique, elegant, amazing, charming and special were used. Joan is not just for weddings. My husband was so impressed with her work that he went to her during the Christmas holiday to have her create a few special gifts for me, that now have a special place in our home.

Joan is a kind, loving faithful woman. The combination of her personality and her talents make her an absolute pleasure to work with. Joan is a gift! She made a very special and exciting time even more memorable. I would highly recommend her and her work as she goes above and beyond!

She also went above & beyond to make sure that the custom ordered wedding gift for my brother & his bride was delivered in time because it meant so much to her that they receive it (she's never met them & had only just met me at a festival 2 weeks prior). She is passionate about her art and is very gifted! I took a semester of calligraphy in college & I know what it takes to write as she does! You don't find calligraphers today, she is a rarity.
Her prices are very reasonable as well!
I will definitely go to her again!

Joan,
I did receive the letter. You did such a wonderful job she is going to
love it. I took the letter and folded it. Then placed it into a light
blue envelope. The envelope was then wrapped with twine and put into a
bow. The backend was then sealed with a wax stamp with my initials on
it. She will we arriving this Friday and I'm sure your beautiful work
will bring joyful tears to her eyes. I kept both of your business cards
and I look forward to doing many more pieces with you in the future. I
loved the paper you wrote it on. It was exactly what I had in mind!

Many, many thanks for the beautiful job you did on our birthday invitations, response cards and envelopes! The party was in September and people are still raving over them in November. But most of all, they brought tears to the birthday girl's eyes (she is 80). Being a serious type A personality, I researched calligraphers on the internet and found your website to be the warmest and most inviting. "Entering" your site was without a doubt one of the best decisions I made in regard to our wedding invitations. I realize I could have searched locally for a calligrapher. Having said that, I don't believe I would have gotten the personal attention that you gave me throughout the entire process. It wasn't just a case of me sending you the invitations and you sending them back. You were so good about calling me and letting me know what was going on or if I had received them. That special attention to detail is something that in this day and time is a rarity. I enjoyed our conversations and you were a delight to work with. The invitations were beautiful and we received many compliments on them. I even had one person write on the back of the response envelope that the invitations were beautiful. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with your professionalism and dedication in writing up my wedding invitations. My fiancé had been trying to print up the invitations using an ink jet printer.
